More unrest, yet stocks continue to climb. I’m going to talk more about this in a video, but it really is amazing to see the disconnect between main street and wall street. Anyway, stocks spent the day in positive territory and never really seemed in any jeopardy.

By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 267 points to finish the day at 25,742. The S&P 500 was up 25 points to close at 3,080. Gold was down $14 to trade at $1,736 per ounce, while oil was up $1.44 to trade at $36.88 per barrel WTI.

One thing I would like to say while all of this is going on before our eyes. First it was a pandemic and now social unrest. This is a lot for all of us to process at once. It can be very depressing watching the news these days, but please take care of yourselves, especially your mental health. Try to get out and get some exercise and clear your mind. Stay connected to your loved ones even if you can’t do so physically. Stay strong, and as I always say, we’ll get through this together.

Have a nice evening everyone.
